LiNbO3 Crystal LN

LiNbO3 crystal (lithium niobate LN) was one of the first nonlinear crystals synthesized for the frequency conversion. Although nowadays for the second harmonic generation there are more effective and damage resistant crystals like BBO, LBO or KTP, lithium niobate crystal finds its own field of application. When lithium niobate crystals are doped with MgO, ZnO or Fe2O3 the properties like photorefractive damage threshold could increase by several times.

Description
