Description

Yb CALGO crystal is a novel laser active material used to generate high energy ultrashort pulses with less than one hundred femtoseconds (< 100 fs). From ytterbium doped laser crystals family Yb:CALGO crystal is used to generate the shortest pulses. Relatively large absorption cross section at around 979 nm makes the crystal well suited for diode pumping. Efficient absorption and low quantum defect let’s to build compact lasers for high power applications.
